French Strap
Genetic factors and environmental factors cause skin loosening, sagging and deep wrinkles over time. The French hang procedure creates a youthful appearance by creating a lifting effect on the face, reducing the effects of aging. It can be used as an alternative to surgical face lift operations.
Biocompatible PDO threads are used in the process. These materials are very compatible with the human body and the effect begins to be noticed immediately after application.
The areas with the most sagging are eyebrows and cheeks. The procedure is mostly performed to eliminate sagging on the cheeks and eyebrows. It is used to correct visible lines around the nasolabial folds and cheeks and to give low eyebrows a more lifted and youthful appearance.
French sling application is performed under local anesthesia for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Patients should not use blood thinners before the application. The skin must be clean on the day of the procedure.
During the procedure, threads are placed under the skin. The threads are placed under the skin on both sides of the face as 2 or 4 pairs of thread hangers, depending on the patients' needs. After the threads are tightened, a symmetrical lifting effect is created on the patients' face. During the first six months, the skin tightens as the threads help increase natural collagen synthesis.
After the procedure, slight swelling, slight dimples, bruising or pain may occur in the application area. This condition can be eliminated by using ice and painkillers. Prescribed painkillers and other medications are used. Patients can continue their daily lives after the application. The recovery period is a few weeks. The procedure can be repeated after an average of 2 years.
The patient should not go out in the sun for a few days. If you go out, high factor sunscreen should be used. You should also stay away from sauna and bath for a few days. In the first days, one should not make a lot of facial expressions and should not lie face down. Massaging the patient's face and rubbing the skin for approximately 1 month is undesirable and may cause loosening of the threads.
